The Australian Automotive Group (Sydney)
Australian Automotive Group (AAG) is a company established in 2005 when the assets of the Ford Sydney Retail Joint Venture were acquired from Ford Motor Company by Imperial Holdings, now Motus Holdings.
Since then, AAG has grown into an impressive portfolio of automotive assets, including six leading Ford dealerships in Sydney. The Ford portfolio has been enhanced by the addition of various brands, including Chery, GWM, BMW, Peugeot, SsangYong, Citroen, Nissan, Volvo, Audi, Volkswagen, LDV, Suzuki, Renault, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Isuzu Ute, and Kia. In addition, AAG operates the Riverina Motor Group and Hillis Motor Group, both located in Wagga Wagga, further expanding our reach and customer service capabilities in regional New South Wales.
AAG also operates one of the largest Ford Parts distribution businesses in Australia and the largest in the Eastern region, working with over 1,152 independent mechanical and repair shops. Our parts delivery service ensures that components reach customers up to three times a day.
Employing approximately 400 staff, AAG sells around 10,000 new and used vehicles annually, with a steadfast commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
Motus Imperial
Our parent company, Motus (formerly Imperial Holdings) of South Africa began in 1947 as a motor dealership in Johannesburg and has grown to a company of over 51,000 people across South Africa, the rest of Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Australia.
Motus is a diversified industrial services and retail group with activities spanning logistics; car rental; tourism; financial services; vehicle distribution and retail; automotive parts and industrial products distribution.
